The professor came prepared with a slide deck that was perfectly suited for my level in Tagalog. It was obvious that he had years of teaching experience - he asked questions to understand how well I was learning each topic, and then adjusted his approach accordingly.

Jay is an amazing teacher. He very kindly tailored our lesson to my exact learning needs and was so enthusiastic and encouraging, I really enjoyed our lesson. I have found other teachers to be quite boring and low energy. But Jay has lots of energy and makes me feel confident to try, even if I might make mistakes.
