Really just an amazing teacher. Half of the class focused on conversation. Jihun's a great conversationalist who encourages you to speak and offers gives his own thoughts and experiences, which makes everything feel so fluid. The second half of class focused on some materials that I had prepared: 1) sentences that I wrote using recent grammar that I learned 2) videogame and webtoon screenshots with words that I didn't understand. He kindly corrected and explained things, celebrated the sentences that were well made, and even gave examples to deepen my understanding. It was a blast. I love working with him!

김지훈 선생님 is really good at making conversation. He asks good questions, listens well, and helps you feel comfortable speaking. He also can converse about a variety of topics. I highly recommend him. I look forward to my lesson with him each week. It feels like I'm talking with a good friend rather than merely getting tutoring.

Jihun is one of the best tutors I've had! He is a great conversationalist and helps me find better expressions and words when I'm struggling. He is very kind and patient, so you don't need to feel rushed. I highly recommend him, especially if you're trying to level up your conversation ability :)

I have been taking classes with Jihun for a little over a year now (which is crazy!) and have to say that he is the best tutor I could have asked for! It truly feels like we have become friends -- each class is so fun, and he is always so kind. When I first started studying with different tutors, I was always afraid of making a mistake or sounding dumb. Some teachers nitpicked all of my mistakes and my grammar, but Jihun is always reassuring and encouraging. He always brings his best energy to class and is very motivating. If I make a mistake, he corrects it, but he also gives me compliments which helps when I feel like I am stuck / not able to speak well. I highly recommend him if you are looking to improve your conversational Korean and if you are also someone who deals with anxiety when speaking in another language!!
