About Me
Hello! I’m Michele, a Canadian English tutor 🇨🇦
I help students speak natural, fluent, and confident English through real-life conversations — no pressure, no boring lessons.
I’ve been teaching English online for over 2 years and have worked with 2,000+ students from different countries, cultures, and levels (A2–C1). Because I live and travel abroad as a digital nomad, I understand the challenges learners face when speaking English in daily life, travel, and international environments.

My best asset as a teacher is my easy-going personality and student-centered teaching style. My classroom is a safe space where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and building confidence.
I focus on conversational English, real-life topics, and practical vocabulary so you can use English naturally outside the classroom. My students often tell me they feel more confident speaking English after just a few sessions.
I’m friendly, approachable, and patient, and I adapt each lesson to your goals, interests, and speaking level.
My lessons usually start with natural conversation practice, then we focus on what you want to work on that day - speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, or fluency.

TutorI worked as a Cambly tutor, helping students improve their English through conversation. I guided them in speaking, listening, and sometimes grammar, tailoring the lessons to their goals and interests. I asked questions, gave feedback, and created a friendly environment where they felt comfortable practicing English. My role was to support their learning while keeping our sessions engaging and interactive.

The lesson was okay overall, BUT
At one point we disagreed on something.
The teacher implied that I was superficial and lacked maturity.
Honestly, I didn't mind being challenged, this is the kind of thing that actually improve my conversational skills, so I was very happy to engage.
The problem is that, right when I wanted to reply, she quickly wished me "all the best" and abruptly stopped the lesson at the 55-minute mark for a "5-minute break" and never came back.
This is the first time it happens to me on italki.
In the end, I felt like she was simply tired of the conversation and wanted to end it as fast as possible.
It felt very disrespectful.
As a result, I didn't get much feedback on my English, and I left the lesson feeling it had been unproductive.
Nobody is perfect, and I genuinely hope the teacher takes this as constructive feedback to give better lessons for their next students.

My English lesson with Michele was absolutely amazing! I truly enjoyed every minute of it. We mainly talked about sports, which we both love, and also about dogs, which we both adore. The conversation was natural, energetic, and full of enthusiasm. Thanks to our shared interests, the lesson felt even more personal and fun. Michele creates a fantastic atmosphere where I feel confident and motivated to speak. I’m already looking forward to our next lesson!
