I am Sophia, 32 years old and have a great passion for teaching languages, cultural exchange, travelling and personal growth. In 2024 I have passed the German teacher certificate (DLL standard) from the Goethe Institut in order to work as a professional teacher.
I also hold a master´s degree in ecology and love to be in the nature, especially to go riding with my horse. My other interests are pencil drawing, playing guitar and reading books about personal development, philosophical and spiritual topics, psychology and Far Eastern teachings.
It´s my pleasure to use my teaching experience in order to take you further on your path learning German!지도 경험

I have started teaching German and English in private lessons in 2014 after I have finished high school and have continued it during my master´s degree. In 2024 I have passed the professional German teacher certificate (DLL) from the Goethe Institut.
I adjust learning pace, speaking speed and lesson structure towards the needs of my students. As I have learned French, English and a bit of Tagalog, I know all the challenges of learning languages. Learning German is a complex task, but it is absolutely possible to master it! The training leads to an expansion of teaching skills and the acquisition of a formal German as a foreign language qualification. Topics such as teaching grammar and vocabulary, phonetics, media didactics, etc. are an integral part of all units. Sophia is a fabulous teacher, always well prepared for my classes and at the same time very flexible.
I like that she always try to speak only german with me and can quickly identify weak spots in my grammar.

Sophia is a very good teacher. She pays always a lot of attention to the needs and capacities of the student. She has a very accurate and extended knowledge of the language and knows how to explain it in a very clear and practical way. She is also always encouraging, with words or with smiles. When I study with her, I feel reassured enough so that my errors are only occasions to learn and not something to feel shameful about, and that is very important in the process of learning such a difficult language.
I have studied many hours with her and I definitely see my progress. I totally recommend her.

Sophia is a very friendly supportive teacher. I feel encouraged to speak and do exercises during classes. Sophia adapts well to what you as a student need. We always find interesting topics to discuss and practice vocabulary, and spend time on grammar that I have problems with. Sophia is a great teacher that I sincerely recommend :)
