Erina先生 is a very cheerful and friendly teacher! She answered all my questions about japanese culture with enthusiasm. Her lessons are fun, and our conversations flow so smoothly that time just flies by. She also takes the time to write down all the difficult words so I can review them after class. I’m already looking forward to our next lesson!

I just took my first lesson with Erina sensei, she's really kind, easy to talk to and diligent. She speaks at a great pace, and tailored my very first class to my needs. She asked what I was more interested in learning (conversation, kanji, reading..etc) to ensure she is helping me with my specific goal and was happy to adjust. We did some revision and practiced together different grammar rules. She highlighted pitches for me and allowed me to do shadowing, which was very interesting! Most teachers don't do that in early stages of learning, but I think it's really important and really beneficial. Thank you Erina sensei for your time and beautiful energy. I look forward to learning together!

Even though it's just a trial lesson, I was able to learn a lot about Japanese language and culture from the lyrics we discussed. Great way to convey the beauty of the language and it was made easy by Erina-san.

This was an amazing class. I choose Erinasan's lyrics class on a bit of a lark (I just wanted something a little different to get me out of some study doldrums). I requested a Gen Hoshino song, and Erinasan provided the lyrics before the class. During class we went through the song line by line. It was such a unique a wonderful way to cover vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. I loved this novel approach. But really most fun came from us discussing the meaning, ambiguity and cultural references of the lyrics, and from Erinasan's ability to bring so much perspective to the lyrics that I would never have otherwise (not being Japanese). Erinasan's English is at a very high level, and I learned so much from her! I will be taking more of these classes.

Erina-sensei is a joyful, energetic and thoroughly engaging teacher. Her demeanor is welcoming and she made me feel comfortable speaking with her in Japanese instantly. It was our first lesson, so we got to know each other and we discussed my goals and reasons for taking Japanese lessons with her, as well as her teaching style and such. I look forward to our next lesson.
