I am an American linguist, ESL professional, methodologist, and aspiring polyglot. I hold a M.A. in Linguistics and a B.A. in Spanish and Middle Eastern studies. I have taught ESL since 2015, in 3 countries (USA, Mexico, Czech Republic), and have studied 5+ languages to date.
When I'm not doing something work-related, I like to read books, watch movies, travel and perform standup comedy. I have toured my standup comedy all over Europe and am now working as a road comic in America.지도 경험
I personalize my lessons as much as possible. I want to give you the opportunity to improve your English quickly (with some hard work) and help you use newly learned information as quick as possible in the real world.
I keep my lessons fun and light-hearted to keep you motivated and excited for every lesson.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My lessons almost always consist of:
1. A warmup activity: usually discussing related topics, news, etc. using pictures or discussion questions.
2. A pre-reading or pre-video discussion.
3. Vocabulary for the reading or video.
4. This is when we read an article or watch a video.
5. I usually ask a few questions to make sure you understood everything. I also answer any questions you may have here as well.
6. We have a more in-depth discussion.
7. I'll give you some homework or mini-missions
8. We go over any mistakes and corrections that I have saved for the end of the lesson.
