Hello! I’m Karen. I am Japanese and grew up in Tokyo. I speak standard Japanese. I have a bachelor of Education, and my major was Japanese Language Teaching Methodology. 日本語教師ビジネスマン向けの授業の際は多数の質問を受けながら授業を進めていくことも多く、想定外の状況に対応しながら生徒の関心事を満足させられる回答ができるような授業をいたしました。また、生徒が仕事で疲れている日もあり集中できない時は教材の進行にこだわらずにニーズに合わせながら 、 要点だけを覚えていただくようにして楽しい授業を心掛けました。

日本語教師理化学研究所に勤めている外国人研究者の皆さまに向けてオンラインでグループレッスン（1クラス約8人）をしております。みんなの日本語を用いてカリキュラムを作成し、1学期～3学期の授業を担当させていただいております。また、漢字のクラスも担当し主に読み書き・音読み・訓読み・派生語・類義語・反対語を扱い、日本の文化やニュースから漢字を学ぶ楽しさもお伝えしております。

とても優しい先生です。ゆっくりまたはっきり喋って頂くので、聞き取りやすくて助かります。日本語の会話に自信がないのですが、先生が褒めてくださったり、励ましてくださったりしていたので、前よりは少し自信が増えてきてなんか心強くなった気がします。今後も先生と会話の練習をしていきたいと思っています。
