Hello everyone! I’m Monique, a Brazilian living in France. I help students who speak English or French to improve their Portuguese on Italki. My classes are conversational and adapted to your level, using films, music, and topics about Brazilian culture — and much more! See you in class! # Bonjour à tous ! Je suis Monique, une Brésilienne qui vit en France. J’aide les apprenants anglophones et francophones à progresser en portugais sur Italki. Les cours sont axés sur la conversation, adaptés à votre niveau, avec des extraits de films, de la musique et des thèmes liés à la culture brésilienne… et bien plus encore ! I’ve taught students of all ages — from children to university level — and volunteered as a biology teacher in a prep course. At Fiocruz, I trained collaborators, taught postgraduate classes, and co-mentored students. I also worked in museums, bringing science closer to people in an engaging way. # Je suis biologiste, passionnée par l’enseignement et le partage du savoir. Great class this morning with Monique! It’s nice to have some things in common and be able to share about them during português conversation class. Also, I really appreciated the insight that Monique shared on certain topics with respect to her own experiences. A super class that offers great cultural insights along with português conversation practice !

Monique is an amazing Portuguese teacher. She explains information very clearly. Helps with punctuation, accent and grammar. I am a flight attendant and she has explained all of the technical vocabulary and has helped me prepare for my language test. I highly recommend for whatever reason you need to learn Portuguese.
