I'm a native speaker of English from the United States.
I have a TESOL certificate and university degrees in law, economics, and international affairs.
I enjoy teaching and helping others achieve their learning goals.지도 경험
I've been teaching English since 2006.
In my first teaching assignment, I volunteered in a refugee camp, where I helped my young adult students improve their English language skills in preparation for resettlement and further educational opportunities.
Upon returning to the United States, I began volunteering with a local literacy organization, providing one-on-one instruction and support to refugees, immigrants, and foreign scholars.
I also spent several years volunteering online with a non-profit organization that helps women professionals in the developing world advance in their careers through improved English language skills.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I primarily offer READING AND VOCABULARY DEVELOPMENT courses.
FACILITATED READING: This course is for those students who prefer stories that are graded to their level and enjoy reading aloud during the lesson. Selected titles are available from the low intermediate to the advanced levels. NOTE: All materials are provided.
INDEPENDENT READING: This course is for those students who prefer reading independently and coming to the lesson prepared for discussion. Selected titles are available at the advanced level. NOTE: The student acquires the reading material INDEPENDENTLY, but the teacher provides discussion questions prior to the lesson, allowing for better preparation.내 수업 자료
