My twenty-third lesson: I was extremely excited to hear some good news from Teacher Jasmine. I couldn’t wait to ask her about everything in detail, and I was genuinely so happy for her. I really appreciate her satisfying my curiosity and being so open and genuine about sharing everything with me. I’m truly happy for her!

My twenty-second lesson: It had been almost a week since I last had a lesson with Teacher Jasmine, and we were both curious about what had been going on in each other’s lives, so we spent some time catching up. We talked about a lot of things, including melatonin, medications, and other health-related topics. I learned some new words and tried my best to incorporate some of the expressions I’d picked up recently into my speech. I also noticed that if I skipped shadowing practice for even one day, my pronunciation would start to feel rusty. So, staying consistent every day was probably the most important lesson I took away from this experience. All in all, a great lesson with a wonderful teacher. A big thank-you to Teacher Jasmine!

My twentieth lesson: I felt like I talked almost the entire time during this lesson, reflecting on my past lessons and personal experiences. So, I considered it a reflective lesson. Throughout the lesson, Teacher Jasmine listened attentively to everything I had to say, without interrupting or getting distracted. What’s more, she never stopped taking notes on the mistakes I made and how I could express myself better. And right after the lesson, she sent me a thorough report. I can’t thank her enough!

I always enjoy Jasmine's classes ! She is a really good teacher and conversational partner! Her patience, attention, positivity, general attitude - all these things make her lessons desired to attend! Thanks a lot, Jasmine!

My twenty-first lesson: If the truth be told, we started the lesson with me talking about my upset stomach, and then we moved on to what typical salads look like in both of our countries, which turned out to be quite an interesting cultural difference. Teacher Jasmine gave me plenty of opportunities to speak and helped me with every aspect of my English, including pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. What’s more, she is constantly looking for ways to improve her teaching. For example, I noticed that she kept adjusting the format of her mini-reports to make them easier and clearer for her students to read. I feel so lucky to have such a passionate and thoughtful English tutor. A big thank-you to Teacher Jasmine!

My nineteenth lesson: This was my first time taking a lesson on my laptop, and Teacher Jasmine helped me explore its key features. The overall experience was pretty impressive—I gotta admit, much better than the version I tried two years ago. On top of that, I shared my experience of having an argument with my boyfriend right before the lesson. Teacher Jasmine was incredibly understanding and really put herself in my shoes. She also gave me some fairly practical advice, which meant a lot to me. After opening up to Teacher Jasmine about my difficult experiences, I felt much less angry and upset.
