Hi, I'm Evan! I'm passionate about learning. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy (with honors in philosophy) and a master's degree in philosophy (with honors as well). I'm a native speaker of English.
In the past, I lived in Brighton, England for 3 months during my study abroad program in my bachelor's degree. I also lived in Lugano, Switzerland (Italian-speaking part) for 2 years, where I completed my master's degree. I can speak basic Italian (A2 level).
I have studied Spanish, Latin, Italian in the past - each for at least 2 years. I am currently learning basic Brazilian Portuguese.
I love travel, philosophy, talking about the mind, and meeting new people!지도 경험
I consider myself to be a patient, calm, and relaxed teacher. I understand that learning another language is not an easy task and takes lots of time, dedication, and practice. I would love to see my students grow and succeed in their English skills! I want to be encouraging to my students and be part of their journey of learning English.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My lessons are conversation-focused and based on a variety of different topics. I hope my lessons are helpful and engaging, not dull and boring. My classroom is a warm and welcoming environment for all my students.
I have recently started my English teaching journey. My lessons are friendly, open, and relaxed. Making mistakes is normal for learning any language. My general aims are to correct grammar, pronunciation, and/or word choice in order to help students become more fluent in English. If am not correcting my students, then I am not allowing them to improve their English, but I do this in a patient and understanding way.내 수업 자료

Evan is a great teacher. He knows exactly what to correct and does it in a way that helps you learn without feeling discouraged. He's very patient, which makes the learning environment comfortable and stress-free. On top of that, he's fun to talk to, so lessons are always engaging and enjoyable.

This is my third class with Evan.
I find his learning method gentle and reassuring.
He is attentive and provides the necessary corrections without distorting the initial idea.
I also appreciate the homework, which consists of quizzes. This allows me to practice and review the points where I encountered difficulties. Thank you.
