I was born in Korea and currently live in the U.S. as a student. Before coming to the U.S., I also used online tutoring to learn English. I understand how challenging learning a foreign language can be, so I want to help you learn Korean in a fun and confident way!

I have two years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students at English and math academies in Korea. Since high school, I have also volunteered as an educator for about five years, gaining valuable teaching experience and developing a passion for education. I am dedicated to sharing Korean language and culture, and I have taught Korean to multicultural students as well as my American friends. My lessons are tailored to meet your individual goals, whether you are a beginner learning Hangul, an intermediate learner seeking confident communication, or an advanced student aiming for fluency through real conversations. I also incorporate a variety of engaging activities to keep lessons dynamic and interesting. I had a great class with Minju practicing my Korean speaking. She prepared several basic conversations/questions on the topics that I indicated earlier. She typed out the phrases as we spoke and any translations that were necessary. Minju was really patient, engaging and encouraging. She corrected my mistakes without interrupting the flow of the conversation. By the end of the class it felt like talking to a friend. I highly recommend her to anyone trying to improve your speaking.
