Beyond Language to Real Communication With five years of experience in a fabric trade company, three years in a staffing agency, and a year in factory production, I've developed a multifaceted professional background that sets me apart as a language instructor. In fabric trading, I gained insights into international business communication; through my staffing agency work, I understood organizational dynamics; and my time in production provided practical insights into workplace interactions. Graduating from the Korean Language Department has further enriched my ability to connect language learning with real-world experiences. Capturing the Context of Living Language The essence of my Korean language education is developing "genuine communication skills" rather than grammatical perfection. Language is not just a communication tool, but a skill for exchanging culture and emotions. I respect each student's unique learning goals and individual characteristics, delivering the vivid language context of actual Korean society. Damon is a very patient teacher. He strikes a good balance between relaxed and focused in lessons, which makes me, as a student, feel reassured. He uses materials to the best of his ability and makes sure to ask if you understand something or not. He also asks for feedback at the end of each lesson, which makes me think he cares about his students and how they find his classes. Great teacher!
