Hi there! I'm George (or Yórgos) originally from Cyprus but have been living in the UK for close to two decades now. I'm very excited for us to start working together on your journey to learn and improve your Greek. I'm passionate about tutoring, the Greek language and culture so why not combine these?
During our first call I would love to hear why you are interested in learning Greek and we can discuss your needs and capabilities and put together a tailored plan that works for you.

I like a friendly and casual approach, while also being mindful of each student's individuality, learning style and preferred methods. I personally tend to favour a more conversational style but rest assured I will work with you to meet your needs. This will vary greatly on your skill level and your needs. We can start from the absolute basics with visual accompaniments all the way to causal dialogue about everyday life or advanced conversations about any number of fields and topics.

I really enjoy our lessons with George, he's a great listener, fully dedicated to the lesson and carefully captures all those details that help me improve step by step. Great introductory lesson. George has obviously put a lot of effort into preparing for the class, and I learned so much even though it was only 30 minutes. His explanations are very clear, and I really liked his ideas about how we can structure our lessons. Looking forward to the next lesson with George! Ευχαριστώ!
