Hello there - è un piacere conoscerti!
I'm Alessandro, I come from a small city in Northern Italy – close to beautiful Bergamo – where I obtained both my BA and MA (Languages and Literatures). After some time spent in the US, Russia and Australia, I settled down under - Sydney first, now Melbourne.
Apart from teaching (which I've been doing since 2018), I love reading, watching movies and series (al momento sto guardando The Pitt e Parks & Recreation, entrambi consigliati!), hiking, writing, gaming and cooking. But I'm open to speaking about anything at all - I'm a very curious person.지도 경험
I am deeply passionate about Italian culture - music, films, cooking, gestures, sayings, eccetera!
I try to make my lessons as fun and relaxed as possible, using a variety of approaches in order to enhance your learning experience. As a former (and current) language student myself, I know that everyone is different, and thus I tailor each lesson to meet your individual preferences and needs.
I have been teaching since 2018 - online and in-person, in schools, adult education institutes and privately. I've just joined Italki and hope to stick around for a while! 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My teaching style is relaxed - humans learn better when they are having fun and their language anxiety is low, so my teaching is low pressure, high divertimento.
I use mostly a communicative approach, which does not mean ignoring rules and grammar, but simply that everything works toward a common goal: producing language. Homework is optional, and it is mostly about cultural elements you might be interested in, or language features you need revision with.
