Great lesson with Pihu! We started by making up sentences using an earlier dialog as a model. After that, Pihu had me practice reading and pronouncing the consonants. Pihu was happy to see I had improved since the last lesson. Pihu also explained several things to me and asked me to repeat back to her how they work. Pihu also gave me some pointers for pronunciation. I know she is paying a lot of attention to make sure that I am starting with a solid foundation!

Great lesson with Pihu! We reviewed pronunciation of consonants. We also learned about formal vs. informal pronouns, and about the different versions of "my". Pihu is really making sure that I have a proper pronunciation, which I agree is best to do early on. When Pihu sees places where I get confused, she will pause and try to simplify it to make sure that I understand!

Great lesson with Pihu!

Great lesson with Pihu! We started by reviewing the consonants - reading and pronunciation, to work specifically on the consonants I have difficulty with. We also reviewed the vocabulary from the last lesson. After that, we moved on to learning new sentences. We played a game where Pihu would say a word and I would have to translate. It was fun. Pihu also gave me some good advice about learning vocabulary which I will try out!

Pihu has made the experience of learning Gujarati very enjoyable. With lesson material and goals for the upcoming week, l can already see progress in my pronunciation and memorization. She is patient and devotes the entire lesson to the student and lesson material. I will be booking many more lessons to come!
