A friendly, fun Korean teacher in Seattle Hi, I am Hannah. My Korean name is Hye-Rin. I grew up and studied in South Korea for most of my life. I have been living in Seattle for 4 years. I like hiking and exploring nature, and meeting new people. One of my biggest interests is to learn languages and other cultures. I'd like to learn Spanish, Chinese, and other languages! As a bilingual speaker, I know learning can be challenging from the start, just like you! To me, the most important thing in learning a language is pronunciation. Korean has a unique sound system. I can give you easy, clear guidance how to pronounce like a native Korean using International Phonetic Alphabet and materials. Also, I would like to ask about your proficiency and goals for all subjects(writing, reading, listening, and speaking) and customize the study plan according to your preferred time frame. I have taught students with a wide range of levels. I would love to discuss your Korean language goals and everything! The session & teaching style depend on you. Before the class, I would like to talk about our plan for the sessions out asking your preferred studying material, time frames, and targeted subjects such as speaking or reading. I can pick the best textbook to achieve your goal, or I can share the dialogues or materials in advance of the class. If you want to test your vocabulary out, I can give you the flashcards and quiz during the sessions.
