I completed the Korean language teaching certification program and also Also studied language education in New Zealand.
I love K-pop, K-dramas, and traveling. Learning about different cultures and sharing Korean culture brings me joy.

한국어 교원 과정을 이수하였고, 뉴질랜드에서 8년간 거주하며 언어 교육 과정을 공부한 경험이 있습니다.
저는 한국 노래와 드라마를 좋아하고 여행하는 것을 좋아해요. 다른 나라의 문화를 직접 경험하는 걸 좋아해서 늘 여행을 떠나고 싶어 하고, 동시에 한국 문화를 다른 분들께 소개하는 것도 큰 즐거움이에요.

Currently, I teach Korean at language institutes in Hongdae, Seoul.
I studied language education in New Zealand, where I studied language education and taught Korean to international students for the first time.
That wonderful experience inspired me to continue teaching until today.
저는 현재 서울 홍대에 있는 한국어 학원에서 다양한 국적의 학습자들에게 한국어를 가르치고 있습니다.
뉴질랜드에서 8년간 거주하며 언어 교육 과정을 공부한 경험이 있습니다.

What you can expect from my class:
- Personalized 1:1 lessons : a curriculum designed to fit each student’s level and goals
(speaking, grammar, listening, reading, writing, TOPIK, etc)
- Immersive learning : We’ll use as much Korean as possible, but always with clear, simple explanations
- Variety of topics: Learn through K-dramas, K-pop and everyday Korean culture (+ what you want)
- 맞춤형 1:1 수업: 학습자의 수준과 목표에 꼭 맞는 커리큘럼 (말하기, 문법, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기, TOPIK...)
- 몰입형 수업: 가능한 한 한국어로 수업 진행, 하지만 쉬운 표현으로 친절하게 설명
- 다양한 주제: 한국 음악, 한국 드라마, 한국 문화까지 함께 배우기 (+ 학생이 원하는 주제)내 수업 자료

I really enjoyed my first class, it exceeded my expectations. The teacher is very experienced and provided me with a lot of interesting background information about the language. We discussed in detail my goals and expectations and the format of the classes which was very informative and encouraging. I will definitely want to continue classes and learning Korean together!

I really enjoyed my lesson! 선생님 was very thorough and considerate of my language learning goals. Explanations were detailed and the lesson plan was catered to me. She carefully prepared very detailed materials before our class which I really appreciated! I look forward to future classes with her!
