My passion lies in IELTS/exam preparation, and I enjoy the unique challenges that language learning brings. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students aiming for higher scores for university admission or emigration, those who need to pass the exam quickly, as well as anyone looking to improve their overall English skills.
How we’ll work:
1. IELTS Strategy: We’ll work on understanding how the exam is assessed, what separates a Band 6 response from a Band 7+ one, and which common mistakes lower scores even for strong English speakers. Success in IELTS is not only about your level of English, but also about understanding exactly what the exam requires and how the scoring criteria work.
2. Structured English Practice: Lessons are built around developing specific skills rather than simply having general conversation. Depending on your goals, we may work with coursebooks, news articles, videos, or other authentic materials to improve grammar, vocabulary, fluency, accuracy, and overall confidence in English.
3. Collaborative Lessons: I use your preferred video platform together with shared Google Docs for real-time work, organised notes, corrections, and clear progress tracking.

Teacher training program IELTS speaking - IDP Education - 2026The IELTS Teacher Training Program has been developed as a support tool to further enhance teachers' performance and effectiveness as IELTS Speaking teachers. Teachers will learn how to use the public version of the Band Descriptors as a teaching resource. A teacher can highlight the features that best match the student's spoken performance, and, in this way, the student can strive to reach all the positive features needed to achieve the higher bands.
