Ana

Ana is truly, truly a joy to learn from on so many levels. She is everything I could hope for in a French guide for my learning. To begin, she is exceptional in her own mastery of the French language. She is always able to elevate and transport conversations to interesting and challenging spaces, all the while cognisant of grammatical points of interest for her student and the goals for language that are being worked toward. I am so grateful to Ana for the treasures she leaves me with each lesson, the confidence I am continually imparted with, and the joy I feel from each unique encounter that I have been blessed to receive thus far!

Ana is a truly incredible teacher, to say the least. She totally understands your personal needs and how to deliver new information in a manner that's accessible & easy, she's extremely prepared and professional and a real pro at what she does. Her classes are engaging and challenging in the best way possible. Ana is patient with a capital P, she always makes sure you fully understand and master a topic before moving on to something new. Her sense of humor and intelligence make the classes super fun and something that I personally always look forward to!

Lessons with Ana are always a great pleasure for me. Our meetings are always a source of knowledge, information, and great fun. Zero stress, and lots of laughter. The best teacher ever!

One of the best decisions I made so far was to book a French lesson with Ana one and a half years ago. I am extremely happy with the progress I've made since and I feel much more confident thanks to Ana’s patience and dedication. She’s the teacher who you feel comfortable talking to, even if you know that you’re making mistakes. She’s very organized and sends you all the material tailored to your level and your goals. Ana has a neutral French accent and has all the competences of a native French teacher and even more: she knows all the little details about the grammar and all the exceptions of a rule, that many teachers would just ignore. Moreover, her vocabulary is proficient and if you’re struggling with expressing your thoughts, she will always provide you with a phrase that fits perfectly to the context. The atmosphere during our lessons is very relaxed, yet learning-oriented, which makes me always look forward to the next lesson. A great teacher and person! Thank you, Ana :).

My first class with Ana was awesome! She's very personable and kind. She is very organized and provided me with much needed encouragement and feedback. She also presented the language learning goals very clearly and I look forward to having more lessons with her!

I have had three lessons with Ana and hope to write a more detailed recommendation in due course. Ana has a very thorough knowledge of French grammar and how to teach it. She also has a good level of English which we break into from time to time. She has created a full plan for our lessons ahead of my DELF B1 exam five months from now. She has gone above and beyond to correct my written work in her own time. I am very happy to have found her and feel in safe hands ... early days, but I would already recommend her to anyone looking for a proper French teacher ... much more than just conversation with Ana ...
