Fabulous teacher with tons of patience and positive feedback at all times

Five lessons in with Lancer and I’ll definitely continue learning with her... ✨ She’s really good at understanding your level, areas you want to improve, and what you actually need help with, instead of just following a fixed lesson style. The lessons feel well balanced, not too easy until boring, but not too difficult until stressful either. Somehow just nice and keeps me motivated to continue. I also like that she adjusts to the student’s pace and goals. Plus she’s fun to learn with, super patient, and her English is excellent, which makes it especially comfortable for English/non-Chinese speakers starting their Chinese journey. Her pronunciation is also super clear and easy to follow. I personally really like both her standard American English and Chinese accent as well, very pleasant and nice to listen to as a learner! ❤️ Really hope she continues teaching for a long time because I genuinely enjoy her teaching style already... 😊⭐️

The lessons are easy to follow and understand. Lessons are very engaging and interactive. Mrs. Wang is very welcoming and supportive when you struggle with some portions and patiently helps you understand how to improve on it.

My 8-year-old daughter recently tried a class with Lancer and she enjoyed it so much! 😊 The lesson was very conversational, interactive, and fun, with storytelling and full Chinese immersion throughout the class. My daughter is already taking Chinese lessons at school, and I wanted this class to complement that through more natural exposure and speaking practice. I really appreciated that the whole lesson was conducted fully in Chinese, without a single English word used. Whenever there were new words, Lancer explained them using simpler Chinese instead, so my daughter could still follow along naturally. I can also see how this kind of immersion helps with listening, speaking confidence, and forming sentences more naturally over time. The class felt very enjoyable and suitable for kids. My daughter stayed engaged throughout and was happily speaking Chinese the whole time. She already said she can’t wait for weekly fun story time with Lancer! ❤️⭐️

Lancer is an ideal Chinese teacher. She is very structured, knowledgeable, and attentive (during and outside classes). I really appreciate her and I'm learning a lot!

Mrs. Wang provides a wonderful classroom experience that is tailored to your level in the language. I felt that the coursework was presented in a way that I could gain a foundation in the language and move forward with confidence. I look forward to my next class with her.
