Hi, I'm Jose from Colombia. I have dedicated most of my life to teaching, and it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I enjoy seeing my students’ progress and supporting them through every step of their learning journey.
I consider myself a resourceful and empathetic teacher. Over the years, I’ve learned that patience and genuine interest in each student make learning much easier—often more than any specific technique or method.

As a licensed educator, I have a strong foundation in teaching methodology and instructional design. Over the years, I have worked as a trainer in translation techniques for several Colombian Indigenous languages. This role required a high level of adaptability, creativity, and cultural sensitivity, as I often had to break down complex linguistic concepts into simple, practical explanations that learners could easily understand.

I focus on creating a calm, trusting, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. I also encourage learners to build an emotional connection between what they study and their own experiences, as this helps make the language more meaningful and memorable.
I have designed a structured teaching program that emphasizes grammar and vocabulary acquisition in the early stages. As students progress to more advanced levels, the program shifts toward developing their productive and receptive skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—through practical, communicative, and contextualized activities.내 수업 자료

Entrenador en Técnicas de TraducciónComo parte de una labor voluntaria estuve capacitando a equipos de traducción en diferentes lenguas indígenas que se hablan en Colombia. Estos equipos estaban compuestos por nativos de esas lenguas cuyo conocimiento del idioma español era limitado, por lo que se requería el uso de lenguaje y ejemplos sencillos y la utilización de recursos didácticos que permitieran la comprensión de términos o conceptos abstractos o complejos.

Dado que mi labor es con un equipo de nativos del idioma Wayuunaiki, he aprendido este idioma para poder transmitir y revisar las traducciones de diversas publicaciones que se hacen en este idioma.
