Hello, I’m Joshua. With 26 years of teaching experience, I specialize in guiding beginners to develop confidence in English through engaging, practical conversations. Whether starting from scratch or refining existing skills, I take pride in customizing lessons to align with each student’s unique objectives. Beyond teaching, I have a passion for cultural exploration—whether through travel, culinary experiences (I embrace trying new dishes), or enriching podcasts that combine history with lifelong learning. Let’s turn language learning into an inspiring journey—together! I bring 26 years of experience working with language learners of every level. My background includes private tutoring, teaching in international and bilingual schools, and extensive online instruction. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, with minors in IT and Modern Languages. I design each class around the individual needs and goals of my students. I adapt lessons dependent upon your progress. I design every lesson specifically around each student’s needs. By incorporating a range of media and learning materials, I make it easier for students to discover—or build on—the learning style that works best for them.
