I have been living in Shanghai, China, for seven years. Living abroad has helped me understand how challenging and exciting learning a new language can be. I love learning languages myself. I speak Korean, English, and Chinese. I studied English in Korea, and I can communicate comfortably with foreign friends. I've learned Chinese while living in China, so I truly understand the difficulties that language learners would face. And also I am a certified Korean language teacher. I really happy to help you to learn Korean as a professional teacher and good friend^^ While living in Shanghai, I made many international friends. They were very interested in Korean culture, so I naturally started teaching them Korean. What began as a hobby slowly became a passion. I wanted to learn Korean teaching more deeply, so I decided to earn a Korean language teaching certificate. Since my university days, I have had a lot of experience teaching children through part-time tutoring. Because of this, I understand learners’ feelings very well. I know that learning a language is not always easy. That’s why I support you with patience and encouragement, and I help you stay motivated and reach your goals without giving up. Sunny is a great teacher, she encourages you a lot and is very positive, it's a pleasure to learn with her. She provides a structured curriculum that she adapts to your level and gives you material to practice in between lessons as well. I am a complete beginner, I only knew the alphabet but my reading is not fluid yet and from day one she made me speak korean during most of the class which i really like.

I had my second lesson with Sunny today and we finished learning the Korean alphabet! Having her guide me through the sounds was a much needed experience, and Sunny is always happy to help! I love how cheerful she is. I highly recommend Sunny!
