I have developed a method that combines a communicative approach with attention to structure and grammar. I use conversation on topics that are meaningful to the learner as the base to understand the structure and usage of the language. I feel so lucky that I booked Jorge's class. He is definitely one of the most underestimated teachers on iTalki. The most wonderful about him is that he does not only have a great mastery of grammar but he is very good at explaining and illustrating them. Jorge has his own website full of useful exercises. He examines grammatical points minutely. At the lesson we have a conversation, then he shares a screen with comments on phrases in the conversation, and I print these off later for reference. For me he is an excellent teacher.

Great class, as always! Jorge designs exercises that help target my weaknesses, / that is not easy to do for someone who has a level B2-C1. It is obvious that he spends a lot of time preparing for our class, also that he has much experience teaching, because it seems like he ´gets´why I don´t ´get´certain grammatical points.
