Let‘s turn guessing words into real communication I’m Vendy – a houseplant enthusiast, a Harry Potter superfan, a yoga practitioner, a beginner runner, a toddler mom, and your new Czech teacher. With almost 10 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from all over the world and at all levels. I’m good at making you feel comfortable and confident when speaking Czech, and I’d love to help you see your mistakes as a learning tool rather than something to be ashamed of. I prepare lessons according to your needs and goals, no one-size-fits-all approach, and 99% of the time we’ll be speaking Czech (I know how to simplify it so you understand!). I'm here for you when: • you're starting from scratch and need to learn the basics, whether to comfortably live in Czechia or to connect with your Czechoslovak roots • you already know some Czech but get stuck when speaking • you want to turn your passive knowledge into active skills • you need to prepare for a specific situation: going to the dentist in Prague, visiting your in-laws in Plzeň, picking up your child from kindergarten in Brno… • Czech feels natural to you, but native speakers still notice your accent and you don’t feel as witty as you are in your native language • you need professional-level Czech for your work
