Hello! My name is Drude Aviaja Larsen. I am from Greenland and hold a Master’s degree in Greenlandic and Arctic Studies from Københavns Universitet and a Bachelor in Art History from Aarhus Universitet. I love languages, culture, and creativity, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge of Greenlandic language and culture with learners around the world. Having grown up in Greenland and taught both arts and Greenlandic, I bring a rich mix of academic insight and real-life experience to my lessons. Learning Greenlandic with me is engaging, interactive, and fun. I am an enthusiastic, patient, and creative teacher. I have several years of experience teaching at Qeqqani Ilinniarnertuunngorniarfik, GUX Nuuk, including Greenlandic as a beginner language. I am approachable, encouraging, and highly interactive with students. I use my professional knowledge, personal experience, and cultural understanding to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. My goal is to make every student feel confident, motivated, and supported while exploring the Greenlandic language and culture. My lessons are engaging, flexible, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I combine structured practice with creative, interactive activities, cultural insights, and practical communication.
