I started off teaching at college for 2 years. First, teaching small classes at a Chinese university for 1 year, then teaching for Confucius Institute in Brazil for 1 year. In that time, I offered face-to-face lessons to 6 classes of all levels.
Now I’ve been teaching online classes for 8+ years up to 1.1k+ lessons.

Master's Degree of Literature - Hubei University - 2013I completed major courses: Theory of Teaching second language, Linguistics and applied linguistics, History of Chinese linguistics, Educational Psychology, Comprehensive Training of Teaching Chinese as a second language. etc
I also did an internship in my university's international school, working as a Chinese teacher responsible for a class of 9 students from 5 countries. My work included teaching and designing exams for my students.
After graduation I worked at Confucius Institute for 1 year

Lia has helped me so much. I started studying with her at the beginning of the year, having only learned Chinese via apps before that. She has really helped to bring the language to life for me through her patient approach to building my skills through conversation. I'm still a beginner, but I feel much more confident to speak Chinese now and to make mistakes that I can learn from.
Her patience with me has been wonderful, and she explains things in a very easy to understand way that helps me to remember the hanzi, pronunciation, grammar and meaning of new words, also how I can apply these words in real-life scenarios.
