Razan

We continue to work on short narratives I have written about my experiences in Jordan. Razan translates and transliterates my English narratives and then we make an audio recording. She commented that this was a very good way to learn. She even said that my pronunciation had improved.

Razan is very patient and helpful!

I tried to describe what I did today in Arabic, but needed help with a few words. We reviewed some simple words in a book that has only transliterations and she wrote the Arabic and pointed out some words that are in MSA. At my request, we reviewed and practiced the formation of the future tense. A full and fun lesson.

Today, at my request, we focused on conversational skills. Razan was very helpful in teaching me new phrases and reviewing phrases I have had before. As always she was very patient and encouraging.
