Lorena Mar

My conversations with Lorena are the highlight of my week. She is an excellent teacher and conversation partner.

So wonderful speaking with Lorena. We can talk about current events, life, language, anything. She's very easy and fun to chat with!

Very fun lesson with Lorena talking about how to handle intense emotions, tantrums when we were children and how our parents reacted to them, as well as traveling for a new experience vs the same experience you can get at home. Lorena is not only very easy and fun to talk to but always is very focused on my Spanish speaking, ensuring to correct my mistakes and always provides notes and feedback!

Lorena always brings material to the lesson that is outside my normal channels of reading. This is great for expanding my vocabulary and forcing me to express myself with vocabulary I already have to make myself understood. I really appreciate that.

Wonderful lesson with Lorena talking about how exhausting adulthood is, people who chase happiness through shopping, how to appreciate what you have, and the different kinds of clothes one needs depending where you live. Such a fun lesson with great insights on life and very helpful feedback and notes for my Spanish learning!
