Certified teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience Hi everyone, My name is Marie, and I’ve been teaching Swedish, English and Russian since 2009. I am a professional teacher and I have a TEFL/TESOL certification. I previously worked as a university teacher and at several language schools. Currently, I teach online and also work as an editor. I use professional educational materials and I have experience of working with students of different ages. I can help you prepare for an exam in Swedish, such as YKI. I'm friendly, flexible and very patient. I like discussing various topics such as music, films, food, technologies, traveling, culture, etc. I'm good at explaining grammar, so you can ask me any questions about that. I prefer not to push but to inspire, and individual approach is my main principle. I let the students study at their own pace, and I always try to find the best way to help them achieve their goals. I'm happy to see how my lessons help my students to travel, to communicate with their family members, to find work in another country, to get another citizenship, etc. I also hope I can help people from different countries understand each other better. My teaching style is a combination of books and speaking practice. Sometimes, if it's reasonable, I also use videos and articles. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don't hesitate to tell me. So, if you decide to take my lessons, I’ll be happy to help you learn Swedish, English or Russian. It is a very nice experience learning Russian with Marie. We are working with a textbook and she is invaluable in explaining grammar rules and help me correct my pronounciation.
