Hi there! I'm Anastasia — a professional Russian language teacher with over 10 years of experience, a strong academic background, and a passion for helping people fall in love with Russian language and culture 💫
📍 Based in Dubai, I’ve taught students from the US, Canada, Asia, India, Europe, and the Middle East.
📚 I’ve also created my own course for A0–B2, combining grammar, real-life language, and cultural insight — no boring textbooks, just meaningful conversation and progress.
They say Russian is hard... but that’s only until you study it with me 😉

학사 - Methodology of Teaching Foreign LanguagesDuring my studies I mainly focused on teaching methods, approaches and techniques popular in Russian methodology and foreign as well. Despite the fact that the range of tools is wide, I personally chose several ones: complex approach, communicative and natural methods, critical thinking development technology. I practised these all while pedagogical practice in a lyceum and am currently using this mix in my educational work.

I am so grateful for Anastasia. Let's face it, Russian isn't a simple language but Anastasia explains it clearly and puts it in a context that makes sense to me, as well as being endlessly patient while I struggle through it! She's also very funny and smart, so I look forward to every lesson, even when I'm not at my most intelligent.

My first lesson with Anastasia was awesome! I am not a great conversationalist in Russian but she didn’t seem fazed by that at all, she asked interesting questions and let me speak a lot, correcting my mistakes along the way. I was surprised that I could speak so much and that an hour could go by so quickly :)

As usual Anastasia was great at offering more natural ways to express myself in Russian as well as correcting my errors while still allowing the conversation to flow. She is also really good at asking follow up questions to encourage you to go deeper.
