Maria Eugenia is a fantastic Spanish teacher! I wanted my lessons to focus more on Latin American Spanish, especially from Argentina, and she tailored both the materials and speaking practice to fit perfectly. Her classes are fun and engaging, with just the right amount of challenge and useful material to work on between sessions. After several months, I felt confident speaking during my travels in South America and was able to have real conversations. Even after returning from my trip, I’ve continued taking lessons because I genuinely enjoy her teaching style.

I'm going to be really honest and direct: I have had different 5 teachers in the last few years of learning Spanish, and Maria Eugenia is the best! She is a real teacher, with empathy, understanding, and professionalism. My progress in Spanish has been largely thanks to Maria's skills (I'm 41 years old and I had never learnt Spanish before in my life). Unlike many teachers, Maria doesn't talk too much, but right from the beginner level, she helps you to do the talking (and that takes skill!). She always has something prepared not only for your lesson, but also for the next one, although if needed, she will let you talk and help you communicate rather than focus on an activity. I would recommend Maria to you, whether you are a beginner like I was, or whether you have a decent level and want to progress, or even if you are advanced. She has the skills, qualities, and experience to help you achieve your goals... and you will have fun in the process.
