Hi! I’m Ilaria, a native Italian speaker, professional translator, and CELTA-certified teacher. I offer personalized Italian and English lessons focused on real-life communication and tailored to your goals—travel, work, exams, or general improvement.
My lessons use a communicative approach with engaging topics like films, stories, and world cultures. We work on speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and culture in a natural way. Grammar is always explained clearly in context, with structured practice and regular review.
In class, you’ll read short texts, answer questions to build conversation skills, and write together to improve accuracy and fluency. I also use translation exercises to help you understand grammar more intuitively.
I teach all levels and ages, including Italian for business, exam preparation, and lessons for children. Classes are available in 30, 45, 60, or 90-minute formats, one-on-one or in groups, online.
I create a supportive and motivating environment to help you reach real, satisfying results. Optional personalized homework (readings, songs, exercises) is available on request.

CELTA Certificate - Teaching House London - 2025I have a strong academic background in language education and a Master’s degree in Language Interpretation and Translation. Through CELTA, I developed strong, student-centered teaching methods that I successfully apply to teaching Italian as well.
