Soy egresada de la licenciatura en Enseñanza del Inglés y mi pasión es enseñar. En mis tiempos libres me gusta ver vídeos en YouTube relacionados con historia, ciencia y cultura general. También me gustan los videojuegos y la animación en general. Siempre estoy abierta para aprender cosas nuevas.
I have a bachelor's degree in English Teaching and my passion is the education. In my free time I like to watch videos on YouTube about history, science and general culture. Also, I love videogames and animation in general. I'm always open to new knowledge and new experiences.지도 경험
Me gusta meter contenido de todo en mis clases porque considero que si el alumno tiene referencias sobre un conocimiento nuevo (aprendizaje por asociación), va a poder recordarlo mejor. Hablar del contexto y del por qué ayuda a un mejor entendimiento de las cosas y a darle un uso real al conocimiento adquirido.
I like to talk about everything in my clases. I strongly believe if the student has references related to the new knowledge (Associative Learning), the knowledge will be easily remembered. To talk about the context and why did it happened like that, will help to understand the things better and the student will be able to give the knowledge a real use.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
Todo será adaptado al estudiante. Al observar a mis estudiantes, me percaté que no todos son activos o gustan de hablar mucho. Es por ello que no puedo definir un solo estilo de enseñanza ni un solo tipo de material. Algunos prefieren hablar de películas, otros de series o historia. Es por eso que las clases tienen un estilo diferente.
Everything will be adapted to the student. Observing my students made me realize not everyone is active or talktive, which is why I don't define a style of teaching or a type of material. Also because some prefer movies, series or history to talk about. That is why my classes vary from one student to another.내 수업 자료

Nuestras clases siempre son divertidas y útiles! :) A ella siempre se le ocurre algo bueno que hacer durante la clase, lo cual es bueno porque mi mente siempre parece quedarse en blanco… Además, ella siempre crea un ambiente en que puedes hacerle preguntas sin sentirte incómodo (o bobito :v). ¡No dudes en tomar una clase con ella!

¡Increíble clase! La profesora enseña el español mexicano real: ya sea jerga, albur y modismos regionales. No es español de libro, sino el auténtico que hablan los mexicanos. Si ya puedes conversar en español pero te cae difícil cuando escuchas mexicanos hablando en un contexto natural o familiar, Marlene es la profe perfecta para ti. Quizás porque ella tiene experiencia como maestra en México, tiene mucha paciencia, es respetuosa, y las clases siempre estan divertidas e instructivas. Me ha explicado un montón de conceptos complicados de una manera sencilla y ya he utilizado lo que me enseñó para contar chistes y hacer reír a mis amigos. Es una clase súper recomendada para conectar con México y mexicanos, y lo digo como un maestro de cinco años de experiencia.

I've been seeing Mar every week since January and it has made a noticeable difference in my Spanish speaking! She is always on time and prepared for class. She has very helpful PowerPoints that she uses with vocabulary and grammar that really help the lessons stick! She is also great for casual conversation if you're looking to practice your fluency. My in-laws in Mexico can't believe how far my Spanish has come. I cannot recommend Mar enough!
