Tomoko-Sensei continues to be a fantastic teacher for my daughter. She is super prepared, very encouraging, welcoming of suggestions or requests, and teaches with excellence. We’re huge fans!

Tomoko-san is incredibly patient and supportive. She inspires confidence in me, even when I feel like I'm not doing as well as I could be. Since our lessons are entirely in Japanese, there are certainly times when I become lost. When that happens, Tomoko-san is wonderful about taking the time to try rewording things into much simpler Japanese so that I can work my way through it. She tries to guide me to the answer instead of just telling me, which usually results in me remembering it better. She does occasionally use an English word for clarification but it is only when necessary. I look forward to our lessons every week.
