I am a Nurse by profession but I worked in a variety of industries such as customer service, English as a second language teacher for more than 13 years. These days, I am also a content creator and an affiliate marketer. I believe that one must go outside of their comfort zone to grow as a person. I am a good conversationalist as a teacher. Somewhat a psychologist too. I asked intelligent and thought-provoking questions that allow my students to improve speaking skills and also their ability to use vocabulary . Most students read and memorize but they do not use those words because of the limitations of their environment. I am rather queer and I have unconventional approaches. I also adapt fast to technology, given my background in social media. I use different approaches , depending on what works but treat my students as intellectual beings nonetheless. My teaching style is a combination of relaxed and strict. Somewhere in the middle of these two. As a teacher, I guide my students to reach the fluency that they need ,without spoon feeding. My thirteen years of expertise in teaching online plus my experience in different industries such as medical field, sales and social media gives me a diverse and unique approach as well as perspective. Since I also encountered different nationalities at this point, I know that cultural aspects play a role too and so I tailor my lessons to student goals. Florian is a very supportive teacher. Her preparation lessons for the IELTS speaking exam are very engaging and instructive. She motivates me to study hard in order to prepare well for the exam and challenges me with difficult discussion topics during the lessons. She is a very positive person and we don't miss out laughing together in class as well.
