My goal since January is to stay in touch with the Norwegian language despite the fact that my schedule does not allow me to study between our sessions. Ola has a lot of understanding for my situation and patiently listens to what I'm saying to him. Thank you so much for that. This is priceless...

I always look forward to my lessons with Ola. He is patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging.

A promising first class; Ola is a perceptive teacher with clear diction and has good resources to deal with specific language problems. It's a little like visiting a psychologist or perhaps a dentist to separate out Swedish from Norwegian, but the class this morning was a great start! Takk så mye Ola, vi snakkes (saktende)!

This was a great first lessen. I appreciated Ola’s working with me to begin determining my language level through conversation, review of grammar concepts, and reading. Ola gave me time to try to express myself in Norwegian while also correcting pronunciation and explanation of grammatical concepts as we went along. I felt that I would be comfortable asking for more or less intervention from him during conversation if I’d wanted a different balance, but I was happy with how our time together unfolded.

Ola was very helpful and encouraging. We worked on the pronunciation of Solvejg's Song for my next concert. He has a very good ear and can pick up even the tiniest details in pronunciation. I highly recommend him!
