Hi, everyone! I am Jaime, 25, and I am originally from Oviedo, in the north of Spain. I have been living and working in China (Shanghai) since January 2023 following a lifelong passion for the language and culture, and I love it here!
I am a people person, very open-minded and with a deeply international spirit. I have visited more than 40 countries, living and attending school during different periods in Argentina, Egypt, the Philippines and the UK, besides Spain. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and I am very passionate about learning and teaching languages.
Some of my hobbies include playing sports, reading and watching movies.

I am a nice, friendly, patient teacher who will try to help you in any way I can. I love talking to people and seeing my students progress. As an avid language learner myself, I have developed a good understanding of what works best and what doesn't and I will communicate all of that to you.
My experience as a teacher has given me a different perspective on the issue, allowing me to observe and compare so many different learning styles and methods. It is never the smartest or most talented people that learn the most, but those most passionate and motivated to do so. I am a strong advocate for the "Comprehensible Input Hypothesis”. I believe immersion, especially one in content that we enjoy, is key to language acquisition. To this effect, I can recommend YouTube channels, TV shows, books or movies suited to your interests and language ability.
In the classroom, I believe the best I have to offer is conversation practice with mistake correction (as much as requested and without interruptions). I will try to make you speak as much as possible, creating a comfortable environment for you to talk about anything you want.
Other lesson activities can include essay correction, test preparation or answering your questions about slang terms or grammar points.내 수업 자료

Jaime is an excellent teacher!
He has been teaching me a lot of academic and idiomatic phrases that are very helpful for conversations and essays. So, if you want to improve your English as fast as possible, you should book Jaime - has the expertise and patience!
I have never booked a Spanish lesson with Jaime, but I am sure he is at least as good at teaching Spanish as in English. There is no doubt - so you might think there are enough teachers on itlaki , of course they are, but nobody is like Jaime humble, pleasant and gifted when it comes to teaching people!

Jaime is an amazing tutor who loves learning languages himself. He has no trouble keeping a fun and interesting conversation going though numerous lessons. What is unique about his classes is that he types while having a conversation with me, so that at the end of the lesson, I am given a 3-page, personalized study guide that explains the mistakes I made, gives the new words I learned, and make suggestions about the best way of expressing myself.
