Since 2012, I teach Chinese as a foreign language. Master degrees in English Studies and Political Science, I offer English tutoring as well.
Public Institutions: mainly taught Chinese in Confucius Institute, East Asian Department, Campus Broshim at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Private Institutions: hired by companies to teach Business Chinese with a focus on Chinese Culture and Culture Difference to their top executives.

The students there are almost all students who were learning Traditional Chinese Medicine, and most of them were going to China for their practical experience as a practitioner. Now that I'm near the end of my first ten-lesson block on HSK-1 preparation with Zoe, I want to note what an exceptionally good choice she is for an iTalki Mandarin tutor. I am consistently impressed with the level of individualized preparation she puts into each class — and also in her ability to push me along in both comprehension and acquisition of language. I learned so much about Chinese poetry, language, culture and history in one hour with Zoe today! I am a beginner but I highly recommend learning Chinese this way if you're interested in poetry at all. Zoe's incredibly knowledgeable about the origins and the metaphorical meanings of words.

We finished another chapter in the HSK 1 course book. There were a number of grammatical devices that we spent time on particularly the numerous uses for 了. A very useful lesson and look forward to complete if the course book next week!
