I have been taking lessons with Urvi for a few months now. Our lessons are always fun and exciting. She always has an answer for all of my questions and guides me well. Keep in mind that you have to spend a lot of extra time going through the provided material, otherwise it will slow down your learning process. Yet, Urvi is very supportive and adapts to your personal learning pace.

Urvi is extremely knowledgeable about Hindi grammar as well as about language generally. She's a great teacher for someone who's interested in learning Hindi thoroughly and understanding how it works.

I have been studying Marathi with Urvi for a little over six months. She is a very patient and caring teacher. My partner’s family speaks Marathi and I have been learning to be able to understand and communicate better with them. She has personalized our lessons with those goals in mind. She takes her time to ensure I’m understanding each concept before moving to the next. Her lessons build on one another and she will assign “homework” so there is some structure and practice outside of lessons. She has an amazing grasp on many languages and linguistics as a whole so can provide a lot of context when learning new pronunciation and grammatical structures. After six months, I feel confident putting together complex sentences, have learned a lot of vocabulary, and know the alphabet. If you’re going to partner with Urvi for language lessons, I would recommend getting a notebook and practicing for an hour or two outside of your weekly classes.
