Carlos is a wonderful conversational tutor; his lessons feel more like “catching up with a friend” - a true, authentic human experience. It just so happens that I also learn new vocabulary and expressions every time we chat. He’s joyful, patient, and honest. There are plenty of great teachers on iTalki, but if you’re looking for one who is also a companion and friend, Carlos is your man.

Relaxing Spanish practice with Carlos. No matter how much time has passed we pick it back up like old friends. Our 1 hour always goes by fast. He really enjoys getting to know his students. When we met this time he says “Que milagro que estés aquí”. Haha. Yes it’s been awhile since I booked a class.

Any teacher can teach you grammar and give you tactics, but not everyone can motivate and encourage you like Carlos. While I couldn't form proper sentences at first, he encouraged me so well and kept me going that I wouldn't have been nervous if they'd told me we'd have a job interview in Spanish today, because I learned from the best. Thank you, Carlos.

Carlos is a game changer. Before booking a class with him, I have stumbled over a bit more than ten teachers on this platform, of whom only one was actually good and the rest were subpar - one didn’t attend, another one told me after ten minutes that he’s done with talking to me and now I should ask him questions and so on. On the other hand Carlos is genuinely amazing. He is the first person who sent a message to welcome me in advance, and also reminded me beforehand of the class just to make sure I’m ready. And this commitment shines through in his classes as well. He instantly gave me a clear plan for the current class and then at the end told me how we are going to progress. For the foreseeable future I am sure that I will be learning Spanish with him.
