TEACHER OF SPANISHTaught Spanish as a foreign language levels A1 to B1 to groups of 4 to 6 children in Dekiru’s classroom. The lessons were a backup or support to Indian students enrolled in the International School in Hyderabad that were finding difficulties with the Spanish taught at school. Obtained excellent results, measured with students performance at school’s evaluation, with tailored lessons and material.
2011 - 2012
TEACHER OF SPANISHI taught Spanish in this prestigious academy in central London following International House methodology: language immersion and a deductive approach to language rules. I accomplished excellent results regarding student's motivation, involvement, improvement, and continuity with a creative approach to creating fun engaging lessons, exercises, and materials. Taught levels A1-B2 to groups of 6-15 adults, groups of professionals for BBH advertising agency and 1-to-1 lessons in UIC’s classrooms.

Picking up Spanish after a few years off was scary but something I had wanted to do for so long. However, within the first lesson, I was put as ease due to Gonzalo's patient, relatable and relaxed personality and teaching style. The lesson slides are great and make Gon's experience in design obvious, which he can tailor to your interests and level of Spanish. Homework is optional, but always helpful, and he responds to messages very quickly which shows how dedicated he is to his students' progress. I highly recommend Spanish lessons with Gon.

Gonzalo is a fantastic Spanish teacher. Organised, always on time, motivational, upbeat and with real empathy for you as a student. His lessons are well paced, never boring and genuinely fun to participate in. The time literally flies. Gonzalo takes care to spend time on areas which you wish to cover and also takes a genuine interest in your progression as his student. He has many years of teaching experience and various teaching qualifications, so you are in the hands of a professional. Each lesson is well structured and introduces important concepts while also allowing time to cover topics which may just come up and time to revise previous topics. Gonzalo is clearly passionate about teaching and takes it seriously. His English is perfect and he has no trouble explaining Spanish concepts and culture, including all of the underlying nuances. If you want a Spanish teacher who will make your lessons both enjoyable and productive, I completely recommend Gonzalo.
