Hi! I'm Renae from Melbourne, Australia, and I currently live in Jakarta, Indonesia! Since November 2017 I've been teaching English in both online and offline. I specialise in Business English (English for the workplace) as well as conversational English and teaching adults
My hobbies are cooking, swimming at the beach, reading and gardening. I am currently learning Indonesian, so I understand how it feels to learn a foreign language! If you want to learn more about Australian culture, food and way of life, I am happy to speak with you! I love hearing your stories about Australia!지도 경험
I am a positive, calm and friendly teacher who always tries to give my students the best lesson that I possibly can. I love to build a connection with my students. I think this is a great way to understand YOU and what kind of things you want to learn. I always try to add a bit of Australian influence into my classes, too!
I like to focus on building your fluency. I believe that fluency and confidence are the most important things in language learning. I think that it is important to be accurate with your grammar, but ultimately it is your fluency and confidence that will bring you to the "next level" in English.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
In three words, I would describe my teaching style as fun, interactive and engaging. I like to get my students speaking as much as possible to build fluency and confidence. I usually ask a lot of questions so that you can practice your speaking! I always tailor my lessons to your English needs, so every lesson is designed especially for you, your English level and your interests.
I use a mix of different materials and tools, like Google Drive, screen share, screenshots, websites and online quizzes. I also use speaking and reading activities to build areas of fluency and vocabulary.
I am also very organised - I always keep lesson records so I remember what we have discussed.내 수업 자료
