Hi everyone,
My name is Alexandre Applefield-Alvarez.
I was born in Paris, France, but my father is American and my mother is half German and half Cuban. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Education and a Master's in International Public Management. I am trilingual and have lived and worked in French, English, and Spanish-speaking countries, and recently founded my own social enterprise in Colombia. I am passionate about social issues and understanding cultural differences to build a better world.지도 경험
I have taught different topics (from science to languages, cooking and basketball) to different populations (children, teenagers, teachers, social workers, entrepreneurs, homeless people...). Teaching is about sharing experiences and understanding others. If there is a genuine curiosity for learning, the process gets really fun and easy! 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
When I begin teaching to a new student, I make sure to understand their expectations in terms of method, pace, and results. Based on that, we define a plan together. As a general rule, I make sure to give my students a lot of freedom in terms of materials, so that they can read articles, watch videos or listen to audios about topics that they are passionate about. Language is a tool that will expand their world. It is a means, not the ends. My objective is for each student to be able to understand and communicate about what they really care about. Every person has their own learning style, and my job is to identify what works for them!내 수업 자료

I really enjoy talking to Alexandre because we talk about how my week went and my plans for the next week and then we correct my homework and while I am talking he corrects the words I pronounce wrong and he reminds me of the words that I forgot
