こんにちは😃 ★Instagram @ japanesestudylab_mayu ★I'm teaching 5days a week, however I usually update my availability at the end of every month (around 28th-30th). -------- Hey everyone, nice to meet you! My name is Mayu, a Japanese teacher based in Sapporo. As well as teaching Japanese, I practiced traditional Japanese tea ceremony for four years at university. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and speaking Japanese together! わたしは、真由です＾＾札幌に住んでいます。人と話すことも好きなので、授業での新しい出会いを楽しみにしております。 Attaining accreditation at the Institute of International Education in London for the teaching of Japanese as a foreign language I am qualified not only to teach Japanese to non-native speakers but I am fully qualified teacher in Japan, working in for almost two years in my hometown of Sapporo, Hokkaido. I am happy to take on students at any point in their journey into the Japanese language, from beginners to advanced learners and create a comprehensive and tailored approach to each individual’s needs and goals. I believe that in order to improve your Japanese, the most important thing is that you are able to enjoy the learning process and have fun in the class! I make and prepare all of my lesson materials, though I have almost every reputable text book on hand if you have a particular book or course you wish to follow. I have quite a few lessons with Mayu sensei and they have been extremely helpful. I feel like I get something substantial in every class. She is also super patient and will answer any question I may have as well. She has materials and homework to share as well. I highly recommend Mayu sensei as a teacher.

Mayu is a very caring teacher with a lot of knowledge beyond typical Japanese. We often study nuances and speech that actual Japanese people use! She exercises patience and caters teaching and learning towards each student!
