Learning Japanese means constantly wrestling with particles, verb conjugations, and panicking over politeness levels mid-sentence—which usually results in my brain completely freezing up. That's where Ayano comes in! She is extraordinarily warm, patient, and creative, creating a wonderfully low-pressure space where I actually get to speak. She encourages maximum student talk time, giving me the confidence to make mistakes, process my thoughts, and actually output real Japanese. Seriously, Ayano, where have you been all my life?! 10/10, an absolute gem of a teacher.

It was my first lesson on the platform, and I was a bit nervous at first because I'm not used to speaking Japanese. However, she guided the conversation naturally by introducing interesting topics and created an environment where I felt comfortable enough to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I really enjoyed the lesson and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and engaging Japanese teacher.

Ayano is so lovely to chat with. She makes talking such a fun and relaxing experience. I am really happy I get to get speaking practice with her, it makes me feel a lot more comfortable with it and also shows me where I have issues/deficiencies still in my speaking. ありがとう ^.^

Ayano先生 is cheerful and very patient. Even though my Japanese isn’t very good, she always wait patiently for me to look up words in the dictionary before I speak. She also type out vocabulary I don’t know and send it to me. I had such a wonderful hour. Thank you so much, Ayano 先生☺️
