Growing up in a trilingual family, I've had a lifelong passion for languages. Since becoming a teacher, I've assisted hundreds of people in effectively learning French, English, and Spanish.
Also a filmmaker, musician and environmental scientist, I love cooking, going outdoors and having interesting conversations.
Studying local languages wherever I go has always been a wonderfully enriching experience for me. Languages help me understand other cultures and helped me grow so much. For over ten years, I've been teaching the ones I know best to others, something I enjoy doing and get great reward for.

Besides teaching dozens of private students of all ages for 15 years, I have worked as French student assistant at my university and as a language teacher at several companies.
Having learned (and currently learning) several languages, I get a personal sense of what the difficulties are as well as what can really help the learning process. If you feel shy or too impressed by the task at hand, no worries, I'll do my best to make you feel comfortable!

➔ My teaching style is highly interactive and I love using up-to-date written and audiovisual material to stimulate students and tailor the classes to their interests. Classes can be conversational and spontaneous, structured on grammar and writing, or a mix of both!
➔ When wished by the student, we can follow one of the many learning methods available. I work with a number of methods, for French I use Alter ego and l'Alternative Francaise. I can also help you prepare for the DELF exam.
➔ I have worked with students specialised in a wide variety of fields: medicine, gastronomy, tourism, fashion, arts...

Phillipine is patient and delightful and managed not to make me feel dumb for how little French I have retained. And these questions are ridiculous and condescending. Who cares how people dress? Or if they curse? If a teacher chooses that and one does not like it one can find another teacher.
