Abel

Abel is a smart and kind teacher. He is easy to talk to and to understand. Sometimes we discuss certain grammar rules that I struggle with, but usually we discuss certain society related topics, which make the lessons interesting but also helps me a lot with my vocabulary! Thanks again Abel!

One of the benefits of this service is the ability to have a cultural exchange as well as a language lesson. Today, while talking with Abel he educated me on Venezuelan politics while keeping the mood light. He is very intelligent and can maintain an interesting conversation. So, I do recommend him to anyone looking to improve their conversational Spanish. He also speaks English quite well, so if you are purely a beginner you could benefit as well.

He was able to gently identify the areas I was struggling with, and breakdown the gap in my fundamental knowledge in a friendly and helpful manner. No judgment, just encouragement and patience.

During every lesson we’ve had Abel has consistently brought engaging and challenging material to discuss in Spanish. Crucially, Abel has given me the freedom to talk about a topic whilst noting any errors I make to share at an appropriate time I.e. I’m not interrupted ever 2 seconds which allows an authentic, flowing conversation. Each lesson has been tailored to my needs and I feel I have improved greatly since taking our lessons regularly.

A truly personalized and exceptional learning experience. Abel continues to be one of my favorite language teachers of all time. His teaching style comes off as casual and friendly, but he's very analytical in his approach. He noted where I lacked confidence in my pronunciation, and went on my side quest to work on those areas. He provided tips, suggestions, feedback, and exercises for the parts I struggle with.

Abel is great. My objective is to improve my speaking fluency, so after a few minutes of conversation, he will go through each of his comments and address my grammatical errors and word choices. He is extremely thorough! Speaking with him regularly has helped me tremendously.
