I have a long experience as a language teacher. I teach Spanish for 14 years now. And for the last five years I also teach Greek, which is my mother tongue. Teaching languages is a passion for me. Apart from Greek and Spanish, I also speak fluently English, Italian and Portuguese. In my classes I try to create a pleasant and friendly atmosphere and to adapt the lesson to the needs of the student. In my opinion, the most important thing is that the student has an active role and develops independence in the learning process. I also give a lot of importance to the cultural aspect. I think it is a fundamental element for language learning because it is a source of inspiration and motivation.

For me teaching is an enriching experience as it allows not only to share my passion in languages but to also learn from my students who belong to many different cultures. Learning laguages is part of my way of living as I love traveling and communicating with people.

I having been teaching Spanish and Greek to people from many different countries. While I have a strong experience in teaching grammar my focus and interest lies on communication and I strive to help students develop independence in both speaking and writing. I am a patient teacher adjusting to the learning needs and rythm of my students.

Great first lesson with Vasili. I asked him if he could do it in Greek, so that I could reinforce my Greek while beginning to learn Spanish. He was very accommodating and I feel like he went at a good pace for me. Thank you!
